Felt like sharing my biggest influences with y'all

Hello everyone!

I'm finally free from most of my commission work, which means I can again focus a bit more on DOGGOZ and my other comic projects!

And to keep myself busy and active, I'm now scheduling Twitch live drawing sessions!

I'm aware that living in France, I have to keep in mind the different Time Zones. I'm in GMT, after all, but I'll schedule the daily live a bit later to accommodate other Time Zones if enough people show up.

And as you've seen, I'm back to try animation! I haven't done any since 2018 and I'm loving it.

Inktober didn't go as expected, but the moth was very productive.

So here's what I'm planning: Maybe continue the inktober illustration I began, but shorter.

Illustration, I've got some planned.

But most importantly, I'm giving animation another short!

Using a part of Azel's ref for it.

I probably shouldn't but I really wanna give inktober another go.

This time keeping things a bit simpler.

Except my brain rot is rather advanced, so I had the brilliant idea to try and prepare both Inktober (the official prompt) and an NSFW prompt because I never tried that.

We'll see how I manage I guess.

It took some time, I know, I've been busy and all (mostly with commissions and such), but we're finally starting on this comic!

I'm currently working on the first chapter/intro's storyboard and will post regularly about its progress

So I think a small reminder for new followers is needed: what is DOGGOZ ?

DOGGOZ is a comic about the adventures of Chica Chicana, a toon doggy living in a weird post-apo world and working for the main gang of the badlands and the city of Dock City : the Crownz.

This comic has a lot of inspirations, chief among them Tank Girl, Doom, Mad Max, Who framed Roger Rabbit and various french comics from the LABEL 619 catalogue. The comic will be rated T most of the time with bits of M rating there and there.

Expect action, monsters, funny violence, guns, explosions, cartoony jokes and obscure french references.

I've been trying to start a comic for some time, and almost gave up after the failure of my first project, Entokrypt (with bugs, you can see some traces of it here on Newgrounds) but support from friends, family and fellow artists gave me back the will and drive to try again.

I originally wanted to post it for the Sweet 16 contest, but decided to take my time.

So yeah, managed to do and post more than I thought I would but hey, all the better.

Working on yet another lil project beside Chica and the Angouleme contest now, and that one will surely gets put on pages too.

For now I'll focus on doing Angouleme and First Chica pages, but we'll see how it goes

well hi, been some time.

Artfight was fun, and helped me get some steam off too, had a couple of busy months.

Still working of Chica comic, but I'm also simultaneously working on sending One-shots to various magazines and a contest for the international Bande déssinée festival of Angoulême, so I'll soon show lots of WIPs of those.

Going to various music festivals this august, so, Posting will be sparse, but that's going to be fun ones.

Hey folks, some news.

I think y'all seen the idiotic new guidelines and rules on Patreon.

Short story short: Fuck 'em. Blasting my Patreon and migrating to Subscribstar.

I have only a handful of people on Patreon anyway, so not too damaging to do the switch. (If you were there, go and cancel your subscription there.)

DOGGOZ, the comic I want to create and fund with that subscibstar, isn't a porn comic, but it's still a comic with a lot of violence and nudity. It's incompatible with Patreon new guidelines and rules.

Seeing as a handful of DOGGOZ entries has been scenarized and are ready for production, I will begin working on them on Subscribstar rather than Patreon (one of the reasons I took so much time to show progress, sorry about that.)

I will post the progress of each entries on subscribstar, but will still eventually post some previews here on NG, and of course, the finished pages and entries once they're done (the subscribers will see all that before anyone else.)

I still have commissions to finish, but we will finally begin the DOGGOZ adventure proper! Stay tuned!

Been working on redesigning the tail of one of my characters, Marie the magic detective.

Been trying multiple styles but I can't decide... too many possibilities.

Her tail is an important part of her design too, both for lore reasons and character design reason, I use it to carry some of her emotions and she freely use it as a fifth limb sometimes.

Thoughts? Thick tail? Thin tail? Spaded? A tuft of hair? Who do you folks think fits best?
