It's okay if you need to switch to other stories to refresh your mind.
yeah, focusing on teh same thing all the time can be tiring after a while. That's how my first comic project failed
The example you gave at the end sounds perfectly fine with me. But overall, I honestly think you should do what you want. Worry less about what others want, more about what you feel is productive to your own creative endeavors and what matters more to you personally. I have a friend who writes/reads fics and she's mentioned several instances of followers getting rowdy anytime a writer decides to stray from what *they* wanted to see from them, and in turn brings so much stress to something that is meant to be enjoyed. One of these writers even ended up quitting, too. So, honestly, try not to consider the audience over yourself too much. What you want is arguably more important than what we want. I'm sure we'll be here regardless, y'know?
Its important to have focus. Juggling multiple projects at the same time can be difficult and frustrating.
@Le-Radji yea that too. Well that can leave 4 months for each category. Spend 1 month in between for commisions. For example: 2 months for (stories), 1 month commission. 2 months for (Doggoz), 1 month commission. Sounds complicated on paper but I'm sure you'll manage the way you do it.
realistically i'll need to do a bit more commission because I plan to put some money aside, but sounds manageable ye
One idea I've been toying with while chipping away on my comic is to have the main comic but at the end of said issue have 5-6 page short preview of the other comics that I want to tell with other characters etc,
Do not loose focus of the main project though! Strike while the iron is hot!

I say you should take several months to work on different things. Like half of this year is spent on the stories, the rest on Doggoz. That way, both parts are advanced. Besides, it would be cool to see what other ideas you have cooking up. So, it's up to you.
