Hello everyone

Been busy!

As some of you might have guessed, EDEN is still in production, but DOGGOZ is also being delayed again.

At this point, I think it would be smarter of me to rebrand Patreon and Subscibstar to support my work as a comic artist in general, rather than focus on DOGGOZ, seeing as I intend to work on multiple small projects.

I will be moving out soon, so the whole of April will be majorly spent moving my stuff to my new place.

I'll reopen commissions in May.

That means, aside from EDEN I'll try to finish this month while moving out, don't expect much activity from me this month.

Well, I've begun doing these weekly streamings, and I will prioritize one particular project.

This project is for a contest, but now I'm also thinking about showing that project to a particular publisher once finished.

Ever heard of Heavy Metal Magazine? The one who featured artists such as Moebius, Alain Voss, or Richard Corben?

I'm a fan of the whole aesthetic of that publication. I collect them to this day.

Well it just so happens that they are running a new edition of the magazine, a whole new run, and they accept comics between 3 and 9 pages long.

So I said to myself, why the fuck not??

My Biopunk 5-page short comic will be sent to Heavy Metal Magazine once it's done. Let's go.

let me introduce you to "EDEN"

the comic is about a biopunk world. The world is one giant organism in a way.

Under the baleful light of a dying star, a lone hunter stalks the teeth plains.

He enters a mawcave, full of what look like glowing eggs.

Those are not eggs. Those are what were once parasites, now integrated into this greater biosphere and biomass, their' life cycle short inside the safety of their sore-nests.

The bigger female, forever in a maggot-like state, cannot survive outside the protective fluid filling these pulsing bubo.

The smaller males swarm them, continuously feeding them and mating with them, maintaining the colony's population to a manageable level.

But our hunter ignores them.

He has a prey to chase. He readies is spasmic nailrifle and hide inside the luminescent papillas blanketing the inside of the fleshy tunnel.

He waits.

I'm trying to organize myself to make at least two weekly streams to motivate myself and advance on comic projects.

So far the two websites where I'm more comfortable doing it are X and Twitch so I'll do one stream on X and then one stream on Twitch each week.

So I'm thinking of doing my X stream every Tuesday starting next week and Twitch streams every Thursday beginning next week (or this week if things go well)

First, I hope you all had good holidays and that 2025 started good for you.

Here's the thing: I have spoken often about my main project: DOGGOZ.

But I have TONS of little short stories I wanna tell and show.

Among others I got:

A short two pages comic with orcs in it

A 5 pages Biopunk story

A 30 pages or so idea for a tournament story with countries of the world making their national emblem/mascot fight

Two guys imagining what WW1 would have been with magic and shit (it's basically trench crusade before I even heard about the game)

And a fairytale inspired story about a bug knight and his trusty apothecary sidekick , I even got visual of that one:

So, the question is: Should I spend time and effort making those stories while slowing DOGGOZ production this year? (Yeah I know, the first DOGGOZ story isn't out yet.)

I planned to do at least three doggoz short stories this year: an intro story, then a little adventure to better introduce Chica and her world, then some secondary characters. SO the idea would be: do the intro comic, then make a small story, then DOGGOZ, then a small story...
